Once upon a time

So I have been called as the 1st counselor in the Young Women's in my ward. I am also helping my wonderful neighbor with girls camp next year and we were inspired by President Uchtdorf's talk from General Young women's conference in April "Once upon a Time" so I created a poster with the theme. Here it is to share... I hope you enjoy...

Sweet 16!!

So one of my Young Women Martina, had her 16th Birthday party tonight, and I was asked to help. So I called up my amazing sister ( I know you are asking which sister because they are all amazing, but this one would be Britten) and asked if she would help me put together a murder mystery that we could play. Well, can I just say that it turned out FANTASTIC!!! The kids had a great time and it made them really go around and get to know each other while having a great time acting there part. The theme for the party was masquerade so everyone was dressed up with masked. It was fun to see all the youth. I also got to take some fun pics before the party. Oh and can not forget that I made my Margarita cupcakes per request of the birthday girl. All in all I hope it was a great night!!!

4th of July/Girls Camp

So we went to my sister Stephanie's house for the 4th of July. We had a great time. It was so great spending time with her and Kevin and there friends here are some pictures.

I also just returned from our Stake Girls Camp. It was awesome. Our Young women have such a neat spirit about them. I learn so much from them and grow as well. This year our Theme was being 8 women cows from the movie Johnny Lingo. It was so much fun. Even though I am not a big camper I would never pass up girls camp!!!

Abbi turned 4 and Florida

So we have had a busy couple of weeks so I apologize for the picture overload! First off my little girl turned 4 the end of May!! I can not believe how big she is getting. We had a party for her the first week of June at my sweet sisters house who so graciously let us use her pool!! It was a great time!

Then we went right to Florida to spend some time with my Family. My sister Britten and her husband and kids were there as well as my parents and my sister Jamie. We had a great time though it was busy!!!! The first day we down to the Keys and went canoeing, and played in the water. (which was extremely warm I loved it) Then we went to one of my dad's favorite restaurant and had the best key lime pie) The 2nd day we went to this AMAZING place called WANNADO CITY. Look it up it is AWESOME!!!! The Kids loved it We also went to the Miami seaquarim and went on a dinner cruise. Needless to say busy but great but I already am missing my family. weighing 10 pounds 04 ounces

and was 21 inches long

Britten's Birthday

So today is my sister's birthday. She was born on Mother's Day too! So I thought I would dedicate this post to her and name ten things I love about her. There are of course a lot more but thought I would stop and 10!

1. She is my creative inspiration, she is always helping me be creative and get into projects

2. She is an amazing mom. I learn so much from her even though she is my younger sister

3. She is beautiful both inside and out. She has amazing eyes and she has such a love for everyone.

4. She is so talented, she can sew like none other, you should have seen the amazing dresses she made for my sisters wedding

5. She is always willing to help others, whether it is for someone in her ward or her family.

6. She is a great friend, I could not have made it through high school or even now without her friendship!

7. She is an amazing wife. (At least that is what Dan says)

8. She is so spiritual, every time we get together I learn so much from her

9. She is an amazing teacher

10.She makes me want to be a better person in every way

I LOVE YOU SIS and hope your day is filled with great things!

Chairs

So I do not know about the rest of you but my kids are Messy!! Especially when it comes to the kitchen so over the past couple of years they have destroyed my chairs. Well the other day I was at Ikea looking for fabric for a backdrop which I did not find, but I did find this fabric that I loved so my awesome husband helped me make my chairs like new. Now I just have to figure out how to sew so I can make matching drapes!

Graduation

So my amazing sister is graduating from the U of U on the 7th of May so we went out and did her pictures here they are...

Easter Weekend

So Easter Weekend as many of you know was snowy and cold in Utah, so we decided to meet up with my parents in Vegas. Jamie and Josh came as well. It was such a great weekend of really doing nothing. We got in on Sat night and of course had to go right to the pool. Then Sunday morning the kids woke up to baskets left by the Easter Bunny, which they were so excited about.

We took the kids out on the strip and they had all these characters on the strip so the kids had a blast. Abbi even held a snake and thought it was awesome.

Then Mon we spent the day with Jamie and Josh at the hotel and went to break feast then we took the kids to see How to Train your Dragon in 3D (which the kids loved!!!)

It was a great weekend with Family and of course NO SNOW!!!!
