making the best out of crazy times!!

So as I posted before, we have been every where the last couple of months, and Sat I thought yeah I finally am going to go home. But no, things can not be so simple. We started in Dallas TX and were suppose go to Albuquerque then to Salt Lake, but you have to love weather! So our flight was delayed from 1:00pm to 5:00pm so they said well we can put you on a flight to El Paso then on to Phoenix then to Salt Lake, and you will not have to get off the flight in El Paso, so I said okay, needless to say we had to get off the plane in El Paso and could not get to Phoenix. So, there was a flight to Las Vegas so we got on that figuring that if I could not get to Salt Lake I could just get a hotel room. So we make it to Las Vegas and can not make it to Salt Lake so I had my dad look for a hotel for us, which to my surprise there were no rooms available (How does Vegas have no rooms?) anyways my sweet parents offered to drive 6 hour to come and get us, but it was already 8:00 at night and we would have to drive back, so I was looking at the flight board and noticed that there was a flight to San Diego leaving in a few min so I ask if we could get on that. So here we are in San Diego!! (We are going home today)
But since we had a crazy flight day on Sat we decided to unwind a little. So we went to the beach and the kids are playing with there friend!!

Crazy times!!

I am going to start by saying I am sorry that this entry is going to be a bit long! We have had some crazy weeks over here at the Sall's!
We were able to sneak away for a couple of days to warm Las Vegas! We had a great time, the weather was so nice we were able to go hiking up at Red Rock, and play in the pool, we even went bowling in the hotel we stayed at. But we did miss Britten and her family. Vegas is not quite the same without them there.

I hope that everyone had a great and uplifting Easter! We did, on Fri April 10th we went over to Nana's for a fun Easter egg hunt. And of course right before we went over Domanik was playing with one of the kids on our street and they got a little rough and Domanik ended up face planting it right into the door nob, so he had is own egg on his head!
Then Sat my dad was home so the boys went shooting in the morning then we went over to my parents home for a yummy Easter dinner with almost the whole family! (Again we miss you Britten, Dan, Dawson, and Annie)
Then late Sat night we began our drive to Denver were we spent the rest of Sun and most of Mon with Nick's sister. We had a great time, it was so fun for the cousins to spend time together. We also went to the Columbine Memorial (that is were Nick went to high school) it was very sobering. I can not believe that it will have been 10 years on the 20th of this month since those shootings.

Then Mon night we said good bye to our Denver family and headed on to Oklahoma City (we stopped in Salina Kansas for a few hours to catch so some sleep) So that is were we currently are! Nick is down here for work to go to school, so we thought we would join him for a few days.
